About the role:

Our funeral service teams work hard to provide a personal and professional service across Lincolnshire, where we have been supporting the bereaved for over 150 years. Showing compassion and empathy and delivering the highest standards of professional service, we support our customers through what can be one of the most difficult days of their lives.

As a Masonry Administrator you’ll work specifically in our Memorial Masonry department as part of a team to provide administrative support from answering e-mails, taking calls and assisting in the management of day-to-day administrative tasks of the Funeral business. Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Processing all aspects of memorial masonry orders and facilitating funeral plans (which in both cases will involve lone-working when attending home arrangements).
  • Liaising with outside agencies, which include the local councils, church authorities and other suppliers.
  • Maintaining computer-based records and communicating effectively with branch colleagues and clients.

About You

We’re not looking for any specific experience as we’ll support you with everything you'll need to succeed in the role. If you are someone with excellent interpersonal skills and can demonstrate high levels of professionalism at all times - we'd love to hear from you! You’ll need to have a full driving licence and show us:

  • A naturally caring and professional approach to customer service in any situation
  • Confident communication skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office software
  • Experience in an administrative background is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
Please note that the successful candidate for this role will be required to complete a DBS check before joining our team.
