Tom

2003 - 2010
I went to school at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School where I achieved 12 GCSE’s and 4 A-Levels.

2010 – 2012
I decided to enrol on the BTEC in Media Production at Lincoln College.

2012
A difficult year for me, I struggled to find a role and had a year unemployed not knowing what to do.

2013
I applied for The Princes Trust and got accepted onto the Lincolnshire Co-op programme where I had two weeks work experience at Coningsby Co-op, I loved it.

2013
I was delighted at the end of the programme when I was successful in applying for a customer services assistant role at Tattershall Food Store.

2013 - 2018
I stayed at Tattershall Food Store and soon progressed to team leader. I continued to develop my skills as a team leader and even took on a brand new store as a team leader at Gibbet Nook Food Store and Filling Station.

2019
I joined the LEAP (Learn Engage Apply Perform) internal programme at Lincolnshire Co-op. The programme is designed to help team leaders progress to store managers. I learnt valuable things about myself and gained a Level 3 qualification in team leading.

2022
I applied for a store manager role at Horncastle and was successful. I love my job and can’t believe how far I have come with Lincolnshire Co-op.
