About the role:

 Our Support Services are always on hand to offer advice and guidance to colleagues across our business. Our Learning and Development team are part of this, working with colleagues every day to develop their skills, building strength for our long term success and promoting the joy of learning!

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Learning and Development Advisor to join our team. This role will be based at our Support Centre in Lincoln but will also include travel to our sites across our trading area in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire, so you'll need to hold a full driving license with access to a vehicle for business use.

In this role, you'll help deliver a blended learning approach that maximises the potential of our business areas. Working either on your own initiative or within the team, you'll use your creative knowledge to support with identifying and developing bespoke solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will also provide efficient, accurate and timely support, advice and guidance to our colleagues to assist with all their development needs.

About You

To be considered for this role, you'll need to show us the following:

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, holding a relevant qualification to demonstrate this.
  • Experience in a multi-site, fast-paced retail environment would be advantageous.
  • A good understanding of digital learning and development solutions using different media and learning management systems.
  • Previous experience in coaching and developing individuals and a proven track record with learning success.
You'll be able to show us excellent verbal and written communication skills, enjoy working with people and be able to work in a confident manner to deliver results. You'll be organised, methodical and able to maintain accurate records of evaluation and the impact of learning needs, to ensure learning delivery is developed appropriately to meet the needs of our business.
