About the role:

Do you know what makes good digital content and stay up-to-date with the latest trends? Are you always scrolling Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok? Do you love being behind the camera?

We now have an opportunity within our Communications team for an effective and confident communicator keen to unleash their creativity to engage with our members, customers and colleagues.

The Digital Communications Co-ordinator role involves generating ideas and creating brand-appropriate content including video, photography and wording for use across a range of external and internal digital platforms.

Social media plays a big part of the role, including organic and paid for content, as well as monitoring our channels and responding to customers. Your strong communication skills will help us engage with our colleagues through internal communications channels, too.
You’ll also use a content management system to update our websites, create marketing emails and work on digital developments and SEO campaigns.

It’s a varied role so you’ll need to be flexible, with proven organisational skills.

About You

We need someone who is a great communicator – visually, verbally and written. You'll be confident with a camera, whether that’s producing videos for social media or taking pictures. You'll also be comfortable with technology, be highly organised and creative - generating lots of ideas and be prepared to share these with the team.

Other things we'll be looking for from you include:
  • You’ll enjoy a wide range of communications channels, both professionally and personally.
  • A degree-level qualification in media, communications, marketing or other relevant subject or demonstrate relevant experience.
  • Experience of programmes in the Adobe Creative Cloud such as After Effects, Premier Pro and Photoshop.
  • A full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle which can be insured for business use.
  • Regular travel is required as part of this role and it will also require occasional evening and weekend work.
For a full breakdown of responsibilities, please refer to the job description which is available as a download on this page.
