About the role:

Our funeral service teams work hard to provide a personal and professional service across Lincolnshire, where we have been supporting the bereaved for over 150 years. Showing compassion and empathy and delivering the highest standards of professional service, we support our customers through what can be the most difficult days of their lives.
 
An opportunity has now arisen for a Crematorium Caretaker to join our team at our crematorium in South Lincolnshire, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the crematorium premises, ensuring a clean, safe, and serene environment for our visitors.
 
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Ensuring that outdoor areas are clean and presentable for visitors. 
Maintaining the crematorium grounds, including weeding, sweeping and general upkeep. 
Performing respectful and accurate unwitnessed scatterings of cremated remains.

About You

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role – however we will provide you with all the training necessary! It’s your personality, skills, motivation, and values that matter the most to us. You’ll need to demonstrate a methodical approach, attention to detail and strong communication skills. The successful candidate may be required to work independently so must be able to work under their own initiative with an enthusiastic and proactive approach to their work. You will need to show willingness to work flexible hours throughout the week, to meet the operational needs of the business.
