About the role:

We are seeking a Pharmacy Contract Manager to oversee key client relationships, ensuring contract compliance, service development and profitability across our pharmacy operations. This role will act as the first point of contact for contractual matters, managing client expectations and driving growth and efficiency.

You will be responsible for achieving growth and profit targets, enhancing service offerings, and strengthening relationships through strategic contract management. Attending contract review meetings, resolving operational issues and preparing for contract expirations will be essential to maintaining long-term success.

In collaboration with NHS Trusts, you will ensure compliance with NHS policies and governance, oversee workforce planning, recruitment and development, and drive service improvements to enhance patient outcomes. Your role will also involve tender management, ensuring all submissions meet required criteria, adhere to governance structures and are delivered within budget and scope.

You will play a key role in protecting existing income streams, developing structured plans for each client, and providing financial models to support tender activities. Additionally, you will engage with key business stakeholders to develop and implement new service models.

About You

The ideal candidate will have strong influencing and negotiation skills, experience in contract management, and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels. You should have a solid understanding of Community Pharmacy, NHS operations across the UK, and the financial acumen to translate insights into operational action. Experience managing multidisciplinary projects and a keen eye for detail and planning are essential. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use are required.
