About the role:

At Lincolnshire Co-op, we look to bring together ideas, energy and resources to make life better in our communities. Spreading this message are our Community Co-ordinators who work across our trading area to understand the needs of their local communities.

We're now looking for a new colleague to join us as a Senior Community Co-ordinator. As a Senior Community Co-ordinator, you’ll work to support the manager with developing community strategies and plans that involve local businesses, schools, suppliers and community networks. You will inspire and lead a small team of Community Co-ordinators and Assistants. You’ll manage and support a number of community initiatives, including our Wellbeing Walks, Health Pods and Community Cuppas as well as other activities relating to food poverty, supporting vulnerable people and those who suffer with physical and mental health concerns.

You’ll be our voice and spread the message about our purpose and approach across your local area and will influence and inspire colleagues from each business area to get involved. By working together, you’ll lead the way by showing others the difference we can make in our local communities.

The role is based at our Support Centre in Lincoln with some flexibility for remote working. You'll also need to hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle for business use, as some travel will be needed when attending community functions and other Society events.
