About the role:

At Lincolnshire Co-op, our Commercial team is dedicated to ensuring accurate product and supplier information across our business, and we're now looking for a Commercial Ranging Assistant to join us. In this role, you’ll take responsibility for maintaining and updating product ranges, planograms, and supplier data to support smooth store operations and informed commercial decision-making.

You’ll help maintain accurate product and supplier data across all trading systems, ensuring stores have the right products at the right time. You’ll review incoming data, identify and correct errors, and keep colleagues informed of product or planogram changes.

You’ll support store operations by maintaining clear planogram storage, responding to Service Desk queries, updating local supplier information, and tracking upcoming range changes. You’ll also record and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution and assist with product life cycle updates, including launches, amendments, and deletions.

This role offers the chance to gain experience in commercial data management, support cross-team workflows, and contribute to continuous improvement.

For more details, please refer to the full job description available for download on this page.

About You

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling data. You’ll be confident using IT tools, including Office 365, and willing to learn—previous retail or FMCG experience is helpful but not essential.

You’ll be positive, professional, and enthusiastic, able to build good relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and internal teams. A proactive approach is important, as you’ll help solve problems and suggest improvements.

You’ll be flexible, happy to work independently or as part of a team, and committed to the Society’s values and co-operative principles.

Benefits:

In addition to working for a successful co-operative business, we offer our colleagues fantastic benefits, including:

  • 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays) (pro-rata)
  • Pension scheme (with up to 12% employer contributions)
  • Generous colleague discount rates across our family of businesses
  • Annual discretionary colleague bonus to reward you for your hard work
  • Free tea and coffee provisions for all colleagues during rest breaks at work

We are an “Investors in People - Platinum” employer, meaning that we have been recognised as one of the country’s top employers, offering progression opportunities to all our colleagues. As your confidence grows, you’ll have the opportunity to build the skills necessary to further progress your career and help to open up future opportunities.
