About the role:

Our Maintenance team work within local communities, helping to ensure that all our properties are taken care of and ready for our customers. Every day will offer new challenges and you’ll be involved with a wide range of activities, working both alone and as part of a friendly team.  

As a Maintenance Operative, you will be working across a variety of sites, ensuring that they are safe and secure. In addition to this you will be responsible for:

  • Regular inspections of vacant properties to ensure safety, security and cleanliness.
  • Accurately complete inspection records and maintain up-to-date information.
  • Carry out minor on-site repairs and address small maintenance issues promptly.
  • Report and secure properties following any break-ins.
  • Record and submit quarterly utility meter readings.
  • Escalate maintenance issues that cannot be resolved immediately.
  • Perform grounds maintenance, including grass cutting, trimming and weed control.
  • Maintain site cleanliness by sweeping paths, car parks and clearing drains and litter.
  • Assist with season tasks such as sow clearing and gritting.
  • Manager property keys securely.
  • Drive and maintain the allocated vehicle responsibility.

About You

Given the fast-paced nature of the environment, you will collaborate closely with our wider teams to ensure we consistently provide high-quality premises for both colleagues and customers. You'll show us:
 
  • Previous experience is desirable, however we will provide you with full training.
  • You will have strong attention to detail and the ability to handle high volumes of invoices while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • You will have good organisational and communication skills, and a proactive, solution-focused approach to resolving queries.
