About the role:

Our colleagues in IT provide an efficient and dependable support service to all of our business areas. A crucial part of our support services, this team use their creative knowledge to design, develop and support systems and processes across all of our business areas.

We are now looking for a pro-active and collaborative individual to join us as our IT Infrastructure Manager.

Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee the planning, implementation and maintenance of all aspects of our IT infrastructure, including:

  • On-premise and cloud infrastructure
  • MSP services
  • Networks
  • Telecoms

In this role, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to take the lead in recommending and designing our infrastructure, as we embark upon a journey towards cloud-based solutions. Leading a team of infrastructure analysts, you will evaluate and recommend new ways of working to enhance and optimise our IT infrastructure.

About You

To fulfil the requirements of the role, the ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience of managing IT Infrastructure across a multi-site business.
  • Experience with managing and working with MSPs and external suppliers
  • Experience and working knowledge of Cloud Services
  • Awareness of Microsoft Windows Server/Azure/AWS/GCP Clouds/VMware and Citrix/MDM management
  • Understanding of Networking and Firewalls
  • Service focused – understands the needs of the business and the customer.

The ideal candidate will be well-organised and able to prioritise across multiple streams of work. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to convey technical and operational requirements in a way that is appropriate to your audience. You'll demonstrate a high attention to detail and will lead by example when working with your teams.
