As a Commercial Assistant, you will ensure pricing, promotions, and supply chain processes run smoothly and compliantly. You’ll be responsible for maintaining an up-to-date understanding of all aspects of price maintenance, reviewing and processing promotional data, and making sure systems are updated accurately and on time.

Your role will also involve monitoring competitor pricing, using pricing rules to manage known value items (KVIs), and recommending changes to protect margin while staying competitive. Alongside this, you’ll make sure promotions are delivered in line with agreed timetables, ensuring accuracy in both pricing and application.

Supporting our supply chain operations, you’ll help to process store orders, generate and check invoices, and track deliveries—liaising with Purchasing, Warehousing, and Store Operations to make sure products reach stores on time and in full. When challenges arise, you’ll investigate, escalate, and resolve them promptly, keeping stores updated with clear and timely communication.

You’ll also contribute to process improvements, enhancing stock flow, reducing waste, and strengthening our store service levels. Collaboration will be key—working with suppliers, colleagues, and other departments to ensure efficient operations while always promoting the values and principles of our Society.
