Love the idea of making something people look forward to? At Gadsby's Bakery, you'll be part of the team behind the sweet treats and baked favourites that head to shops across the country. Including every Lincolnshire Co-op food store.
This is precision baking in a modern production environment. You’ll work with specialist machinery, proven systems and trusted recipes, adding the finishing touches that make each product unmistakably ours.
And when a batch comes out just right, you’ll know it’s down to you: your skill, your care, and your pride in doing things well.
When I first joined, I’d never worked in this type of environment before, and I found it challenging. But, I felt welcomed and supported by the team.”
In the bakery, you’re the reason the Gadsby’s range looks and tastes just right.
You’ll help prepare our baked goods from start to finish. Mixing, baking, finishing and getting everything ready to go out. Then you’ll package each item safely and neatly, so it arrives looking as good as it should.
Details matter here. The right weight, the right finish and the right presentation. And you won’t do it alone. You’ll work side-by-side with your team to keep quality high and orders moving, every day.
As a driver, you’re the person who keeps everything moving.
You’ll load up, head out, and make sure our bakery produce reaches stores ready for the shelves. You’ll complete food safety checks along the way, follow clear processes, and stick to health and safety requirements, because quality doesn’t stop once it leaves the bakery.
Whether you have big ambitions or taking a small next step, you'll have chances to learn, build your skills, and grow more confident in your role.
If life gets in the way you'll have supportive managers who listen and help you find a way forward.
You'll be part of a co-op that puts people and communities first, every day.
A Lincolnshire Co-op exclusive credit union, with a simple way to save and access low-interest loans.
Your future matters. We'll match what you pay in, up to 12%, with our Honeypot pension scheme.
You get two paid days a year to volunteer locally, doing something that feels good and has an impact in the community.
There’s only one Gadsby’s Bakery. But what you make here reaches shops and communities across the areas we serve.
Every shift, your work becomes part of everyday life in local communities. The treats on the counter, the bakery staples on the shelf, the ‘go on then’ pick-me-up that makes someone’s day. You might not meet the customer, but you’ll still be feeding moments that matter.
You’ll also be helping keep something local going. Gadsby’s recipes and traditional methods have lasted because people care enough to do the job properly. That care travels with every delivery.
