Teams in Support Services

People Team

The People Team is here to help colleagues do their best work, from the day they apply, right through to career development and beyond.

You’ll support the full colleague lifecycle: recruitment and workforce planning, learning and leadership development, employee relations and policies, reward and benefits, and organisational change.

You’ll work closely with teams across Food, Pharmacy, Travel, Funeral, Post Office, and our Support Centre, partnering with managers and senior leaders to build capability and strengthen our culture.

Roles range from People Advisors and Business Partners to Talent, Reward, and People Systems specialists.

Marketing

The Marketing team helps people notice, choose, and trust Lincolnshire Co-op.

You’ll promote our brand, products and services in a way that builds customer engagement, increases footfall, and supports commercial performance while staying true to our member-owned identity.

You’ll be involved in planning and delivering campaigns, protecting our brand and tone of voice, creating digital, social and website content, and supporting member communications and promotions. You’ll also use customer insight and research to shape what we do next.

Marketing works closely with Food Stores, Pharmacy, Travel, Funeral, Post Office, Commercial and Community teams. Roles include Head of Marketing and Membership, Marketing Manager, Marketing Assistant, and Graphic Designers.

Governance and Legal

The Governance & Legal team helps keep Lincolnshire Co-op on the right track - legally, ethically, and reputationally.

If you join the team, you’ll make sure we meet our legal and regulatory responsibilities and manage risks.

You’ll work on corporate governance and compliance, provide legal advice and support contract management, and help with risk management and policy oversight. The team also leads on data protection and information governance, and supports Board and committee processes.

Community Team

The Community Team helps Lincolnshire Co-op make a difference beyond profit

As a member of the team, you’ll build relationships and deliver projects that support local communities and our members in practical, visible ways.

You’ll help run community investment and funding programmes, develop partnerships with local groups and charities, and encourage volunteering and colleague involvement in community activity. You’ll also support member engagement and democratic activities, helping members have a real voice in the business. A key part of the role is measuring and reporting social impact, so we can show what’s changing and where help is needed most.

Roles include Community Manager and Community Co-ordinators/Assistants.

Property

The Property and Commercial and Developments team looks after the properties we operate from.

You’ll be responsible for making sure our sites are well maintained, safe, and commercially viable, while supporting future growth through new locations and improvements.

You’ll be involved in estate management and maintenance, new site acquisition and development projects, lease negotiations, and capital investment planning. You’ll also play a key role in building compliance, including health and safety.

You’ll work closely with Food Stores, Pharmacy, Travel and Funeral, plus Commercial and Finance teams, and external contractors and developers.

Roles include Head of Property, Regional Property Managers/Surveyors, Development/Project Managers, and Facilities/Maintenance Managers.

Commercial Support

The Commercial Support team keeps Lincolnshire Co-op running smoothly behind the scenes.

You’ll provide the practical support that helps trading areas deliver great service every day, with excellent communication and the right information and processes.

You’ll support commercial performance through reporting and analysis, co-ordinate systems, processes and administration, and help with supplier and stock support. You’ll also play a part in pricing and promotions, plus operational planning to keep things consistent across our sites. A big part of the work is turning data into clear insight people can act on.

Finance

You’ll help Lincolnshire Co-op stay financially strong, responsible and ready for what’s next. Your work will give teams across the business the information they need to make good decisions.

That could mean managing payroll, paying suppliers, preparing reports, tracking performance or helping teams plan their budgets. You might be working with numbers, improving a process or explaining what the figures mean.

You’ll work with colleagues across Lincolnshire Co-op, as well as senior leaders and external partners. Together, you’ll help make sure our finances are accurate, well managed and trusted.

IT & Digital

In our IT & Digital teams, you’ll make technology easier, safer and more useful for people across Lincolnshire Co-op. You could be helping our in-store colleagues, maintaining cyber security, keeping essential technology running or introducing a better way of working.

You’ll work with colleagues across our food stores, pharmacies, travel branches, funeral homes and support teams. By listening to what they need and finding practical solutions, you’ll help them spend less time worrying about technology and more time supporting their customers and communities.
