About the role:

Our Support Services are always on hand to offer advice and guidance to colleagues across our business. Our Central Operations team are a part of this and now, we're seeking a Logistics Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimise supply chain operations in alignment with commercial objectives and customer demands.

As our Logistics Manager, you will monitor and manage the flow of products from suppliers efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring timely delivery and minimising excess stock. Additionally, you will manage the company’s fleet of commercial vehicles, and work with the Central Operations Manager to maintain quality control and compliance measures.

Your responsibilities will include analysing key performance indicators to improve efficiency, optimising supply chain networks and identifying areas for process improvement to reduce costs and enhance operational effectiveness.

About You

To be considered for this role, you'll need to show us:

  • Experience of transport management is desirable.
  • Previous experience in production planning, inventory management, logistic and continuous improvement. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities alongside experience with budgeting and strategic application. 
  • Experience in managing and leading change, developing/managing teams and driving effective teamwork.
  • A proven track record to date with ambition to achieve and grow with the business. 
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent problem solver and decision maker. 
  • Exceptional client focus.
  • Hold a full driving licence.

You'll be able to show us excellent verbal and written communication skills, enjoy working with people and be able to work in a confident manner to deliver results. You'll be organised, methodical and able to maintain accurate records, demonstrate good time management with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise as necessary.
