Gadsbys has been kneading, mixing and baking for over 50 years! From bread rolls to Bakewell tarts, all our delicious products are made with passion and pride. Our hardworking team work closely together to ensure that our quality products taste amazing, are made with skill and delivered fresh for our regular customers.

 We're now seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Gadsby's Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Gadsby's operations, you will play a crucial role in supporting and assisting the Office Supervisor, Administration Assistants and Technical Manager to ensure all on site administration is completed.
 
In this role, you'll work collaboratively with the administration team and with the wider business. You'll be involved in a variety of tasks such as:

  • Answering phone calls, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining files and records.
  • Being a point of contact for internal and external communications.
  • Ensuring messages are delivered accurately and promptly to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Providing exceptional customer service by responding to enquiries, taking orders, and problem solving.
  • Assisting with financial tasks, such as invoicing, tracking expenses, and reconciling financial records.
  • Helping to co-ordinate bakery-related events, such as tastings, promotions, or community engagements.
 Please note: This vacancy is for a 16 hour contract to be worked over 2 days a week

About You

 
We're looking for a motivated and organised individual with a passion for providing administrative support in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in an administrative environment is desirable but not essential as we will offer full training to the successful candidate. You’ll need to show us:
 
  • Excellent customer service and administration skills, desirably with previous experience in a similar environment.  
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy and interpersonal skills.
  • Good administration skills, with experience of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good communication skills with a confident, empathetic, compassionate and professional manner
  • An ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. .
