About the role:

What if your next pharmacy role gave you the opportunity to lead one of the most ambitious and innovative community pharmacies in the region?

At Lincolnshire Co-op, we believe community pharmacy can be so much more than dispensing prescriptions.

We're creating healthcare destinations that combine expert clinical care, outstanding customer experience and innovative health services to support healthier communities.

That's where you come in.

Ready to shape the future of community pharmacy?

This isn't a typical Pharmacist Manager role.

As the leader of our flagship pharmacy, you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional patient care while shaping the future of community pharmacy. You'll lead a talented team, champion new clinical services and build meaningful relationships that make a genuine difference to the health and wellbeing of the people we serve.

From providing expert clinical advice to developing your team and driving service excellence, you'll have the opportunity to influence how healthcare is delivered within your local community.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing pharmacy team, creating an environment where colleagues can thrive and develop.
  • Build trusted relationships with patients, members and healthcare professionals, becoming a recognised healthcare leader within your community.
  • Deliver outstanding clinical care through the safe and effective provision of prescriptions, medicines and enhanced services.
  • Champion innovation and service development, helping to grow and expand the healthcare support available to local people.
  • Ensure the highest standards of patient safety, governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including stock control, controlled drugs management and record keeping.
  • Work collaboratively with GP surgeries, healthcare providers and community partners to improve patient outcomes.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience that combines professional expertise with genuine care and compassion.

You won't be doing this alone. You'll be supported by a wider network of pharmacy professionals and leaders who are passionate about developing community healthcare and helping colleagues achieve their full potential.

About You

You may already be successfully leading a pharmacy team. Or you could be ready to take the next step in your pharmacy leadership career.

Either way, you'll be passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and motivated by the opportunity to lead a pharmacy that plays a vital role within its community.

You'll probably recognise yourself in this if:

  • You're a qualified pharmacist with a Master's degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • You have confidence in delivering the full range of advanced and enhanced pharmacy services.
  • You enjoy building trusted relationships with patients, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
  • You're passionate about developing people and creating a culture of continuous learning.
  • You lead by example and inspire others through your professionalism, expertise and commitment to high standards.
  • You're commercially aware and understand how to balance exceptional patient care with strong pharmacy performance.
  • You thrive in a customer-focused environment where no two days are the same.
  • You're driven by one thing: improving the health and wellbeing of the communities you serve.

Whether you're an experienced Pharmacist Manager or an ambitious pharmacist ready for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

Why this role matters

  • How pharmacy colleagues develop and grow.
  • How we continue to innovate and expand the support we provide.

Most importantly, you'll help us deliver on our purpose of bringing together ideas, energy and resources to make life better in our communities.

What you'll get in return

Alongside the opportunity to lead a flagship pharmacy and make a genuine difference to people's lives, you'll receive:

  • Up to 34 days annual leave (pro rata), including bank holidays.
  • A pension scheme with up to 12% employer contributions.
  • Generous colleague discounts across our family of businesses.
  • Annual discretionary performance-based bonuses.
  • Full reimbursement of your GPhC fees.
  • Access to a wide range of professional development opportunities.
  • Opportunities to work as a Clinical Pharmacist or Independent Prescriber within GP surgeries and community hospitals.
  • Wellbeing support and community engagement opportunities.

We're also proud to be an Investors in People Platinum employer, recognising our commitment to helping colleagues learn, develop and build rewarding careers.

Through our close partnership with the University of Lincoln School of Pharmacy, you'll have access to unique development opportunities, with some of our pharmacists also working as Teacher Practitioners to support the next generation of pharmacy professionals.
