  • About the role:

  • More Than Holidays - We Create Unforgettable Experiences

What if your next role helped people make memories that last a lifetime?

At Lincolnshire Co-op Travel, we're more than a travel agency. We're a team of passionate travel experts who help customers turn their dream trips into reality. From family holidays and city breaks to honeymoons and once-in-a-lifetime adventures, we make every journey special.

As a Travel Consultant, you'll inspire customers with expert advice, personalised recommendations, and outstanding service. You'll build lasting relationships, help customers book their perfect getaway, and play a key role in your branch's success.

Where Every Journey Starts With You

No two customers are the same. One might be planning a relaxing beach escape, while another is searching for their next big adventure. You'll take the time to understand what matters most to them and help create the perfect travel experience from start to finish.

As a trusted travel advisor, you'll make booking holidays easy, enjoyable, and memorable.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Helping customers find and book holidays that are perfect for them.
    • Building strong relationships through excellent customer service and expert travel advice.
    • Achieving sales targets by spotting opportunities and creating memorable customer experiences.
    • Managing enquiries, payments, and travel bookings with accuracy and confidence.
    • Keeping up to date with travel trends, destinations, and industry updates.
    • Working as part of a supportive team to deliver great results and a welcoming branch environment.
    • Promoting Lincolnshire Co-op Travel through local events, community engagement, and in-store activities.
    • Supporting customers when plans change, providing reassurance and solutions when needed.
  • About You

  • The person behind every great holiday

You don't need to be a travel expert from day one – we'll provide the training, support and development you need to build your knowledge and confidence.

What matters most is your passion for helping people, building relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

    You'll likely bring:

    • A passion for delivering great customer experiences, with the confidence to build relationships and spot sales opportunities.
    • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional approach that helps customers feel valued and understood.
    • A positive, adaptable mindset, with the ability to stay organised and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail when managing bookings, payments, and customer information.
    • Good digital and numeracy skills, including confidence using Office 365 and other systems.
    • A genuine interest in travel, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to contributing to a successful team and branch.

A full job description is available to download on this page, including further details about the responsibilities, experience and skills required for the role.

    The difference you'll make

Travel is about more than booking holidays.

It's about creating memorable experiences, helping customers explore the world with confidence and providing expert support every step of the way.

Most importantly, you'll contribute to our purpose of bringing together energy, ideas and resources to make life better in our communities.

Alongside the opportunity to work in a role that helps create unforgettable experiences, you'll benefit from:

    • Up to 30 days annual leave (pro rata), including bank holidays
    • A pension scheme with up to 12% employer contributions
    • Generous colleague discount across our family of businesses
    • Annual discretionary performance-related bonuses
    • Wellbeing support and opportunities to get involved in community initiatives

We're proud to be an Investors in People – Platinum employer, recognising our commitment to developing colleagues and supporting long-term careers.

Ready to help customers discover their next adventure?

Whether you're helping someone book a dream holiday, a family getaway or a once-in-a-lifetime trip, you'll play an important role in creating experiences they'll never forget.

If you're looking for a role where customer service, sales and people really matter, we'd love to hear from you.
