The person we're looking for
You don't need previous experience in Funeral Services to join us – we'll provide the training, guidance and support you need to build your confidence in the role.
What matters most is the way you communicate with people. You'll be approachable, organised and able to remain calm and professional when supporting families during sensitive and emotional situations.
You'll be great at this if you:
- Have a caring, respectful and professional approach to supporting others.

- Can remain calm, composed and sensitive in challenging situations.
- Are organised and have strong attention to detail.
- Enjoy working as part of a close-knit team while taking responsibility for your own work.
- Have good administrative skills and can manage different priorities.
- Understand the importance of discretion, integrity and confidentiality.

You'll help ensure families feel welcomed and supported, while providing the reliable administrative and team support that allows our Funeral Directors and colleagues to deliver the best possible service.
When applying for this position you should recognise that respectful care of the deceased forms a large part of our services, so you'll need to be comfortable in the presence of the deceased and in supporting our clients.
