    We’re looking for a curious, creative and collaborative Associate Designer to join our team at Lincolnshire Co-op.

    This is an opportunity to take your design skills beyond simply making things look good. You’ll help turn ideas, campaigns and messages into visual content that connects with our colleagues, members, customers and communities — across everything from social media and websites to email campaigns, advertising and point-of-sale materials.

    So, what will you be doing?

    Working alongside our Senior Designer and wider Purpose and Proposition teams, you’ll help create compelling visual content across a wide range of channels.

    You’ll be involved in:

    • Bringing creative briefs to life and producing high-quality visual assets across digital and print.
    • Creating graphics for websites, social media, email campaigns, online advertising and point-of-sale.
    • Helping develop innovative design solutions that communicate messages clearly and creatively.
    • Creating motion graphics and animation to support our evolving digital content.
    • Adapting and refining designs based on feedback from colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers.
    • Making sure our designs are consistent, accessible and optimised for digital use.
    • Keeping your finger on the pulse of design trends, emerging technology and industry best practice.
    • Checking your work carefully to make sure everything is accurate and ready to go.

    No two briefs will necessarily look the same, so you’ll need to be comfortable moving between different projects, audiences and creative challenges.

  • About You

  • What will you bring?

    We’re looking for someone who combines creative thinking with a real eye for detail.

    You’ll need:

    • A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
    • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
    • An understanding of typography, colour theory and layout principles.
    • Experience designing and adapting campaign visuals for different channels.
    • An understanding of print and digital production processes.
    • Creativity and an awareness of current design and digital media trends.
    • The ability to work independently while also enjoying collaborating with colleagues and suppliers.
    • A focus on producing consistent, accessible and digitally optimised designs.
    • Basic motion design or animation skills would be an advantage, particularly experience with Adobe After Effects.

    You’ll be part of our Purpose and Proposition function, working closely with the Senior Designer and colleagues from across Lincolnshire Co-op. You’ll also collaborate with teams across our trading areas, internal support functions and leadership teams, as well as external partners and suppliers.
