  • About the role:

  • Help bring great people into our communities

At Lincolnshire Co-op, our Talent Acquisition team plays an important role in bringing talented people into our business. As a Recruitment Co-ordinator, you’ll help connect the right people with the right opportunities, supporting recruitment across our diverse trading areas and Support Centre.

Because great recruitment isn’t just about filling vacancies.
It’s about creating opportunities, building relationships and helping people take their next step.

Where every opportunity starts with the right approach

From writing engaging job adverts to sourcing candidates and supporting hiring managers, you’ll help deliver recruitment campaigns that attract the people we need to support our communities.

Working closely with our People Team and managers across the Society, you’ll provide practical recruitment support, share your knowledge and help make sure every stage of the process is organised, consistent and effective.

Because when recruitment works well, everyone benefits.

Where organisation meets a great candidate experience

You’ll play a key role in keeping recruitment moving, balancing competing priorities while making sure candidates feel informed and supported from application through to onboarding.

One day, you might be developing a targeted recruitment campaign or reviewing applications.
The next, supporting a hiring manager with interviews, monitoring recruitment progress or helping improve how we use our systems.

    You’ll focus on:

    • Coordinating recruitment campaigns and working with hiring managers to understand their needs and attract the right candidates

    • Creating engaging job adverts and supporting candidate sourcing, shortlisting and selection

    • Managing recruitment activity through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), keeping records accurate and monitoring progress

    • Supporting hiring managers with recruitment processes, while ensuring activity follows relevant legislation and Society policies

    • Providing a positive candidate experience through clear communication, alongside contributing to employer branding and improvements to our recruitment processes

Because this role isn’t just about managing vacancies.

It’s about helping great people discover what they could achieve with Lincolnshire Co-op, while giving hiring managers the support they need to build strong teams for our communities.

You’re approachable, proactive and confident building relationships with candidates and hiring managers. You can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, while keeping the candidate experience at the heart of what you do.

Where your recruitment experience makes a difference

    You’ll bring:

    • Experience supporting recruitment, ideally within a high-volume, multi-site environment, alongside a relevant recruitment qualification or CIPD qualification (or working towards one)

    • A good understanding of recruitment legislation and best practice, including GDPR and right-to-work requirements

    • Confidence using recruitment systems, with experience of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) an advantage

    • Strong communication, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities

    • A proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to build relationships with hiring managers, candidates and external recruitment partners

Someone who takes pride in doing things well

You understand the importance of handling information confidentially, keeping accurate records and making sure recruitment processes are fair, consistent and inclusive.

You’ll be comfortable communicating with people at all levels, whether supporting a hiring manager with a recruitment campaign, speaking with candidates or contributing ideas to improve how we attract talent.

You’ll also share our THRIVE values, taking pride in delivering a helpful and trustworthy service, treating people with respect and looking for opportunities to make recruitment even better.

Ready to help people find their next opportunity?

As well as being part of a People team that makes a real difference across our communities, you’ll benefit from:

    • 30 days’ annual leave, including bank holidays, pro rata

    • A pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 12%

    • Colleague discounts across our family of businesses

    • Learning and development opportunities to help you build your skills and confidence

As an Investors in People Platinum employer, we’re committed to creating an environment where colleagues are supported to learn, develop and feel proud of the work they do.

If you’re organised, people-focused and passionate about creating a positive recruitment experience, this could be the opportunity for you.
